→ The rush of going out with friends at night - Now although this sounds a bit odd because going out with friends seems like a completely normal thing, it's how Scarlett exits her house that counts. (A/N: that was worded really badly, I apologize.) Her parents, both high in morals and standards, never suspect that she has created an escape method from her room to the outside. She climbs out of her window, makes her way down from the edge of the roof, and slowly works her way down the first story of the house. It's all full of excitement and hope that she won't get caught -- and it makes her feel happy.

→ Doing her own thing - Whether it be from wearing attire that would be laughed at or simply wandering away from the 'popular' crowd, Scarlett has her own way of working and living. She doesn't rely on others and it's more so because of her independent nature.
 
→ Writing - If there's anything that Scarlett enjoys doing all of the time, it's writing. Whether it be on a napkin, on her laptop, or in a journal, Scarlett always finds herself jotting down ideas that could catalyze fictional stories to become written. She finds it as a way of escaping the hardships and setbacks that comes alongside life, the freedom of letting her thoughts roam allowing her to feel relaxed and distant from the annoyances that may come in her way.

basics? | Scarlett was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska to the CEO and secretary of a very successful business. At the age of thirteen, Scarlett had starting drinking and hanging out with the ‘wrong’ crowd. Then eventually her parents had no other option, but to send her away to a boarding school. They came across an advertisement from Ashford, and sent Scarlett as soon as she turned fourteen.

past drama | When one looks at Scarlett's exterior, one thinks that she's the innocent and harmless. But on the contrary, Scarlett has come a long way since her (almost) drinking addiction and troubled childhood. When she first came to Ashford, she decided to change herself so that she could catch the eye of Xavier who isn’t into girls who are rowdy or dangerous. Then after some progress, he actually began to treat her right, and made her feel special. Scarlett ended up changing everything about her entirely to make him happy, but this illusion shattered when she witnessed him treat other girls the same way. The same sweet words, and dazzling smile were used. She became heartbroken, and lashed out towards anyone who attempted to love her. Even, David, who can’t hide the feelings he has for her.

☯ To most she's the icing on the cake, the sparkle in one's eye; she's the dollar bill found on the ground, and the kitten playing with a ball of yarn. Those all sound like fantastic ways to describe her, but do they really know her? The reckless, mischievous, and daring side that it closeted because she's known for her reputation as the "good-girl" rarely comes out. When it is the right time, she's the exhilarating feeling that comes alongside a roller coaster; Ariana's the right song that plays at the right moment, the car ride filled with reckless abundance; she's the thrill of sneaking out for the first time, and the relief after sneaking back in. She's double sided but will only let a few know the real her. The real Ariana.
☯ If someone were to look at her personality -- her real and regular personality, they'd automatically assume that she enjoys useless things such as drinking, smoking, those relationships that last for a week and the typical one night stands, having "friends with benefits", or parties. While those /are/ true, she does enjoy some more "good-girl" things, as most people would call them. When there's a rainy day, he hands search for a long novel and press "play" on her phone to let music calm her while she's reading. When she's sick she turns to the Spanish channel and watches various soap operas (although she has no idea what anyone has to say). If there's a time when her plans happen to catch her eye, she takes along her camera to whatever activity is planned and takes pictures to capture the moment. She knows that she won't be sixteen forever, so why not capture the memories?
- However, there are some things Ariana has a great disliking for, and although it'd take too long for anyone to list, there are a few that she hates with all of the passion held inside of her small body. When someone rubs metal against another metal, Ariana wants to scream; at the time when she's stuck in a room where there is to be no entertainment or joy, she has the feeling of great annoyance and boredom; once her dinner arrives and it's nothing but cauliflower, she has the urge to throw her dish at her parents. In her eyes, the girls who post on facebook all of the time and take pictures only consisting of puckered lips and their behind sticking out are completely deluded and have no use to our society.

☯ Take being in a room reading with soft music playing in the background as an example. Or perhaps the soft faux fur of a teddy bear for deeper explanation. Let's also take a cup of warm coffee on a chilly morning to use, or maybe even the feeling of satisfaction a person receives after reaching their goal. He's the protective older brother who comes to rescue but also the dad who listens. Logan's nice, sweet, and caring -- just as these situations would make one feel.
☯ Logan enjoys what typical sweet boys would enjoy: sentimental gifts and early fall mornings. His eyes yearn for the darkness after a long day, his mind wondering about what he would have for breakfast the next day. He likes cardigans with elbow pads, cushions, carpet floors, rich tea biscuits, and the smell of cinnamon and rich mahogany. Logan sees that friends are a necessity and finds the feeling of sand very interesting.
- When it comes to things that Logan finds distasteful and unneeded, it'd be hard to list them because he's so optimistic that he can't seem to find anything that he "dislikes." Although, there are a few things that make him angry such as chicken alfredo, judgemental people, and drugs.
